Increasing our clients’ productivity and driving cost savings through flexible staffing and outsourcing options starts by recruiting and retaining the best talent in the field. Providing the HR Solutions to fuel our clients’ success and maintaining the tools and conditions to make this process seamless are our top priorities at Mary Kraft Staffing.  At the intersection of these priorities are our candidates, associates and employees who are working every day to help our clients reach their goals. These people are the core of the HR Solutions that fuel our clients’ businesses and we take our responsibilities to them as seriously as we take our responsibilities to the business leaders we serve.  Often labor costs and other similar local, state, and federal regulations can have an impact on the balance we so carefully cultivate and maintain.

As we turn our attention to supporting your successful 2015, we are working diligently to minimize the impact of these factors. While our mission to provide you with the highest quality resources at the most cost effective rates is unchanged, the regulatory costs associated with employment cannot be fully minimized.

These regulations impacting our pricing model include:

  • Workers Compensation
  • State and Federal Unemployment Tax Acts (SUTA/FUTA)
  • The new Employer Mandate portion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Due to the complexity of these regulations, especially the new Employer Responsibility provisions of the ACA, we have taken a very thoughtful and careful approach in determining how to account for the impact of these changing regulations. In addition to working closely with an outside consultant to assist with our analysis of the ACA, we have been an active leader in a coalition of staffing companies seeking better quality, ACA compliant, alternatives to traditional healthcare insurance. As a result, we have a deep understanding of the legislation and our experts are well-positioned to ensure our full compliance with the ACA. We have also played a key role in minimizing the total cost impact for employers such as Mary Kraft Staffing and, in turn, our clients’ companies.

At this time, we want to ensure you are aware that these regulatory changes will impact your rates in the near future. While we also anticipate changes in State Minimum Wage Legislation and Paid Leave Ordinances, these consideration will not impact the cost of our services at this time.  In the meantime, we think it is important to inform you of rate changes. Our philosophy is simple – transparency with our clients is the best course of action.

Thank you for your continued partnership.  Mary Kraft is dedicated to helping you succeed, and we look forward to working with you to drive results through talent-driven strategies in the year ahead.
