Mary Kraft and Client Updates for COVID-19 Response

Dear Mary Kraft Partner:

Is it cliché to say that I can hardly believe I am writing an update nearly a year after we began the COVID-19 journey together? While COVID-19 has been an unwelcome intruder in our homes, workplaces and our culture in general there are some silver linings. Our client relationships have been strengthened by the level of communication, cooperation and hard conversations required to get our people and our businesses through this difficult time. We are so grateful to count you among our loyal partners in this challenging time.

We know that you and your teams continue to face many challenges in the workplace. As we take stock at the end of this extraordinary year, there is still comfort in the fact that we found supportive and innovative techniques for working together. We remain committed to researching and improving those techniques every day as we wait for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccines to become more widespread.

Our talented team of Recruiters and HR Specialists are developing additional new solutions and new techniques daily to help our clients manage all HR, personnel and recruiting needs.

In response to the spread of COVID-19, we have developed an expertise in relocating and supporting our Workers to a virtual “work from home” status to help our partners with business continuity.  We also have many employees safely at work in our clients’ offices and businesses.

While it has been a challenge to effectively address the concerns about the health and safety of our associates, their families, neighbors and colleagues, it has also been an honor to work through this difficult time with them.  With safety measures in place and the vaccine on the horizon, our associates continue to express their passion for staying engaged in their work and protecting their jobs and their families’ income.

New jobs and new tasks within existing positions are being created by the minute by the very same crisis that is creating a new normal. There is no job too big or too small for us to take on to assist our clients with continued success on the other side of COVID-19.

Our corporate staff has returned to the office where we are observing conservative social distancing measures and CDC guidelines for safely working together and hosting face-to-face interviews.  Our Baltimore and Duluth teams are available during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5:30 pm.
